Make a Nomination for the 2025 ACS Infectious Diseases Young Investigator Award by December 1!

Nominations for the 2025 ACS Infectious Diseases Young Investigator Award are now open! Sponsored by ACS Infectious Diseases and the ACS Division of Biochemistry and Chemical Biology, these awards recognize three outstanding young investigators in the field of infectious diseases.

The ACS Infectious Diseases Young Investigator Award was established in 2017 in order to honor a young scientists’ contributions to the field of infectious disease research at an early stage in their careers. For the purpose of this award, “young investigator” is defined as anyone who started their independent academic, industry, or other research position within the last 10 years. Winners of the 2025 award will receive a commemorative plaque, an honorarium of US $1000, registration for ACS Fall 2025, the opportunity to present a talk on their research at ACS Fall 2025, and US $500 to cover travel, lodging, and meal expenses to support attending the ACS Fall 2025 Meeting.

Nominations must be submitted by December 1, 2024 using the following online form, and must include the URL of up to 10 of the nominee's most relevant publications and a short paragraph of nomination remarks (500 words or fewer) describing the nominee's research accomplishments related to this nomination.
