ACS Meetings & Expositions are where chemistry professionals meet to share ideas and advance scientific and technical knowledge. ACS-affiliated meetings include both National Meetings and Regional Meetings.
Enzymology is a key interest of many of the members of the Division of Biological Chemistry. There are several national and regional conferences that highlight advances in our understanding of enzyme structure, function and mechanism.
The Division works actively to support meetings that are of broad interest to our members. These conferences are centered on a wide range of topics, from related sciences to increasing diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
The Division of Biological Chemistry seeks symposium proposals that address topics relevant to the field. A symposium is a chance to host 4-6 speakers during a national ACS meeting for a half-day in an area of interest to the DBC.
The Division of Biological Chemistry provides grants on a competitive basis to its members to support symposia at ACS Regional meetings and for conferences in research areas of interest to the Division membership.
