It’s Official: DBC Will Become the Division of Biochemistry and Chemical Biology!
The Division of Biological Chemistry is excited to announce that we will officially become the Division of Biochemistry and Chemical Biology, effective January 1, 2025. A previous proposal within the division found that 90% of our members supported this name change. As a result of this overwhelming support, the name change was brought before council members at the Spring ACS 2024 last week and was approved with a 70% vote.

Submit Your Abstracts for ACS Fall 2024 by April 1!
Abstract submissions for ACS Fall 2024 are now open! The meeting, titled “Elevating Chemistry”, will take place on August 18-22, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. Abstracts will be accepted until April 1, 2024 and acceptance notices will be sent out the following month.
